As a Barclays Senior Tech Lead you will build and deliver a cloud native credit processor product for the bank. You will be responsible for the delivery of the development, project leadership, quality, and timely delivery of the project. What will you be doing? • You will be managing the scope of projects from inception to closure. Defining, developing and managing implementation schedules and project budgets • Identifying key business objectives and providing solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis • Coordinating resources, preparing project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, controlling project scope and mitigating risks • Ensuring the project team are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards • Developing the release strategy and implementing • Ensuring delivery processes are efficient and cost effective What we're looking for: • Good technical experience in Java, Backend & Cloud(AWS) architecture • Good understanding of SDLC and Architecture • Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle • Understanding of Agile methodologies Skills that will help you in the role: • Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situations with professionalism • Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control Where will you be working? You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
