Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)\n\nExternal Cladding Remediation\n\nFull-time | Permanent\n\nSouth West London\n\nResident Liaison Officer job in Battersea – supporting residents through a major external cladding remediation project, offering the opportunity to join a growing specialist contractor delivering high-profile residential refurbishment works.\n\nThe Role\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established contractor delivering external cladding remediation and fire safety works on a large residential scheme in South West London. \n\nWorking closely with site teams, residents, client representatives, and subcontractors, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong communication throughout the project, ensuring residents are kept fully informed while works are carried out in occupied homes.\n\nThis is a customer-focused role requiring previous RLO experience within social housing, refurbishment, retrofit, or external works projects, alongside strong communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nActing as the main point of contact for residents throughout external cladding remediation works\n\t\nBuilding positive relationships with residents and maintaining clear communication across the project\n\t\nManaging resident queries, concerns, complaints, and access arrangements professionally and efficiently\n\t\nIssuing resident notifications, newsletters, and updates regarding planned works and programme changes\n\t\nSupporting site teams with access coordination and resident engagement across occupied properties\n\t\nAttending site meetings and maintaining accurate records of resident interactions and project updates\n\t\nEnsuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the duration of the project\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing, refurbishment, retrofit, or construction\n\t\nExperience working on occupied residential projects is essential\n\t\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage difficult situations professionally\n\t\nConfident liaising with residents, site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives\n\t\nOrganised and proactive approach with strong administrative skills\n\t\nAbility to work independently and manage resident expectations effectively\n\t\nFull UK driving licence preferred\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\n£30,000 – £40,000 salary depending on experience\n\t\nPension scheme\n\t\nLong-term project pipeline and career progression opportunities\n\t\nOpportunity to join a growing specialist contractor delivering major remediation works\n\t\nImmediate start available\n\nThis Resident Liaison Officer role in South West London offers the opportunity to join a major external cladding remediation project with a respected contractor delivering essential fire safety and refurbishment works across London.
