About Ourselves\nSunlight Children’s Care provide a therapeutic children's residential service, offering a variety of residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 – 18 and who may display emotional and challenging behaviours (EBD).\nThe young people placed within our services have often experienced significant adversity and trauma in their young lives and may no longer able to reside within their familial / foster home.\nOur Aim\nSunlight Children's Care create a safe and sustainable nurturing environment for our young people and a developmental and rewarding workplace for our care team.\nWe ensure our team(s) adhere to Ofsted standards and guidelines referencing the Children’s Act and Children’s Care Standards, Ofsted is the looked after children’s regulatory body.\nCompany Benefits\n * Annual bonus, criteria dependant\n * Auto enrolment into NEST pension Scheme–criteria dependent, opt out available.\n * Private Medical Health Care\n * Life Insurance\n * Medicash cash back plan, giving you high street discounts including cash back on dental and optical costs.\nRegistered Manager Position\n * We are seeking a qualified Registered Manager to be responsible for the smooth running our 2-bed Residential Children’s Home in Derby.\n * The Registered Manager is to ensure the provision of high-quality care is given to our young people in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Ofsted and all other statutory and regulatory requirements.\n * The Registered Manager will promote the wellbeing and safeguarding of our young people and be responsible for the development and supervision of their team, encouraging professional progression where applicable.\n * The ideal candidate for the Registered Manager's role is to have passion in working with young people and to be committed to improving the lives of the young people we care for.\n * You should have strong leadership skills within Children’s Residential Care setting, along with 2 years previous experience in a residential management. In return we can provide access to opportunities for development both personally and professionally and progression within the company, as well as training and access to CPD.\n * Working hours are 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday), with the requirement on occasion, to work such hours over and above your normal weekly pattern as reasonably required.\n * This would also involve being placed on a 5 week rota to provide out of hours emergency on call.\nQualification\n * For the Registered Manager position we require a Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management or near to completing.\n * Transferable qualification may be considered but must be recognised by Ofsted inorder to pass 'fit person' Ofsted registration.\n * A Full UK driving licence is required.\nRegistered Manager
