R&D Technician

Title: R&D Technician Vacancy Type: PermanentSalary: Range, depending on experienceLocation: North West, LancashireWe are currently looking for a R&D Technician to permanently join a well-established pharmaceutical component manufacturer within Lancashire. The R&D Technician will assist in the development of pharmaceutical formulations and test a variety of pharmaceutical samples. The successful Laboratory Technician will responsible for:* Handling lab equipment such as mixers, crimpers and pressure fillers* Maintaining the calibration of equipment and instruments* Performing Health and Safety Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments* Processing and compilation of test data * Update IPTC laboratory procedures Required: * Educated to HND level in a relevant discipline, i.e, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Chemistry* Microsoft Office experience and good communication and interpersonal skills* Laboratory experience in a regulated environment, desirable.
