Job Description: Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate for European Regulatory Reporting LOB: The CFO Group Corporate Title: Up to Vice President Location: London Due to expansion across the European Regulatory Reporting function, a brand new opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Associate to join the London team. Role Description: This role aligns to the European Regulatory Reporting (ERR) Team within the CFO Global Financial Control (GFC) department. ERR’s purpose is to drive high quality regulatory reports through operationally efficient processes to support the production of various regulatory reports as required by European Regulators Primary responsibility for this role is to help establish and drive the Quality Assurance (QA) function for ERR. The teammate in this role will work closely with the regulatory reporting Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the ERR team to validate the completeness and accuracy of ERR’s reporting. The role will assist in reviewing ERR’s end to end processes to ensure that: the data inputs into the capital and statistical calculations and the related reporting are complete and accurate; ERR’s processes, including regulatory calculations, are being performed as intended and produce expected outcomes; and ERR’s controls are being executed correctly and working effectively.  The QA team rotate through ERR’s submissions and will be expected to identify, define and implement Operational Excellence opportunities. In addition the role will require reviewing, leveraging, and supporting updates to: Business Requirement Documents, Data Dictionary documentation and Desktop Top Procedures. The Team: The ERR team is made up of 100 individuals based across London, Dublin, Paris and India The team prepares and submits regulatory reports for the material entities in the UK, Ireland and Paris Interaction will be across whole of EMEA CFO group, as well as Front Office, Risk partners and Technology Core Skills: Proven experience within the financial services or banking industry Confident understanding of Finance processes including governance and internal controls Knowledge of financial statements and banking products Basic familiarity with European regulatory reporting requirements / technical requirements Ability to work with and across a team in multiple locations Excellent organizational skills Communication – ability to communicate effectively, including strong written, verbal and summarization skills Expected competencies for success in this role include: People Leadership – ability to influence, motivate and empower others, indirectly managing/leading and multi-tasking across multiple teams and locations Partnering – ability to partner collaboratively and constructively, within the ERR team, across the GFC group and more broadly across other departments Bank of America Every day, across the globe, our employees bring a commitment to our purpose and to driving responsible growth by living our values: deliver together, act responsibly, realize the power of our people and trust the team.
