We’re Hiring: Time Served Platers – Winsford 🚨\n\nPlease note: this is a local role only as accommodation is not provided\n\nAmbitek is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Winsford, who are looking to expand their team with a number of skilled Time Served Platers.\n\n🔧 The Role\nAs a Plater, you’ll be working with 20mm – 40mm thick plate in a structural steel environment. From interpreting technical drawings to producing high-quality components, you’ll play a key role in ensuring production standards are met and exceeded.\n\n📌 Key Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Fabricating components from 20mm – 40mm plate\n\n * \n\n Reading and interpreting technical drawings\n\n * \n\n Using a variety of tools and equipment in a structural steel setting\n\n * \n\n Delivering work to a consistently high standard within given timeframes\n\n✅ What We’re Looking For:\n\n * \n\n Time Served with a solid background in structural steel fabrication\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working with thick plate materials\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently from technical drawings and specifications\n\n * \n\n Willingness to complete and pass a trade test before starting\n\n🕒 Working Hours:\n\n * \n\n Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 4:45pm\n\n * \n\n Friday: 7:45am – 12:45pm (early finish!)\n\n💷 Pay Rates (CIS or Umbrella):\n\n * \n\n Basic: £23.09 per hour\n\n * \n\n Overtime: £31.44 per hour (after 39 hours)\n\n⚡ Why Apply?\n\n * \n\n Immediate starts available following a successful trade test\n\n * \n\n Great rates of pay\n\n * \n\n Early Friday finish – long weekend, every weekend!\n\nPlease note: this is a local role only as accommodation is not provided
