Job Description: Job Title: Operations Analyst – OTC Clearing Derivatives Settlements Corporate Title: Officer Location: Chester Role Description: Working with external CCP’s such as LCH, CME, ICE, EUREX to ensure our obligations are fully met. Investigating and resolving pre and post cash settlement discrepancies and non-receipts. Undertaking cash reconciliations Liaising with London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York Trade Support to resolve and call out risk and break issues Adding value though implementation of improvements to the system infrastructure and control environment by taking part in project and ad-hoc testing Communicating updates and critical issue to senior management and making constant effort to improve client service and efficiency. Adhoc Projects involving building requirements, stakeholder engagement, testing and implementation. Process Improvements – generating ideas for how to improve efficiency and control, and seeing them through to implementation. The Team: The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses. Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations. The OTC Clearing Settlements Team is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This role supports the settlement of OTC Cleared Derivatives covering multiple products, and instruments. Full technical training will be provided Our role is focused on supporting various internal stakeholders, whilst being responsible for trade validation/ reconciliation, regulatory & management reporting, process and risk improvement and issue resolution.
