MFL Teacher (French & Spanish) – Overseas Opportunity (Cyprus)

Start Date: September 2026Location: Dhekelia, CyprusFor at least one term, with potential for extension

Reed Education is proud to be supporting schools based overseas in Cyprus. We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a thriving school community from September 2026. This role is a temporary position for at least the first term of the academic year, with potential to extend beyond this if the need is there.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in French and Spanish, teaching students up to Key Stage 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your teaching experience in an international setting while making a real impact on students’ learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3-KS5
• Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
• Contribute to curriculum planning and development
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching French and Spanish up to KS5
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A full driving licence (essential due to location)
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working overseas
