Job Title: Mechanical Modifications Technicians (Rolling stock)Location: East YorkshireHourly Pay Rate: £21.57 Paye / £29.00 Umbrella Shifts: Minimum of 45 hours a week Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 06:30 - 15:30 Duration: On-going contractPosition Summary:Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you who will initially be engaged for the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock. You will be responsible for:* Carrying out mechanical and interior pre-sale modifications including underframe work* Recording work via internal IT systems* Carry out inspections and checks to ensure fleet reliability * Identify improvements and feedback into team leader* Advise and rectify any defects that are found Qualifications / Education required:* Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in a Mechanical/Engineering discipline.* Minimum 18 Months Mechanical Rolling Stock Modifications experience PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
