Maintenance Engineer\n\nMy client are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Plymouth, supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of their production equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on extrusion lines and associated machinery.\n\n * Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to minimise downtime.\n\n * Support equipment installations, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects.\n\n * Maintain maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory.\n\n * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including LOTO, PTW, PUWER, COSHH, and RAMS procedures.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n * Engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3/HNC equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering.\n\n * Experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, ideally within plastics, extrusion, process, or similar industries.\n\n * Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems.\n\n * Knowledge of PLCs and maintenance management systems (CMMS) is advantageous.\n\n * A proactive, safety-focused approach with excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.\n\nPackage:\n\n * Basic Salary £35,000-£40,000\n\n * Company pension scheme.\n\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.\n\n * Ongoing training and career development.\n\n * Supportive team environment within a growing business
