KS1 Teacher – Derby, DE1\n\nLocation: Derby, DE1\n\nContract Type: Full Time / Temp to Perm\n\nStart Date: September 2026\n\nPay Rate: £130–£250 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)\n\nExperience: Minimum 6 months' teaching experience in a UK primary school\n\nOverview\n\nEducation Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to support pupils during a crucial stage of their academic and personal development.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum\n\n * Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and social skills\n\n * Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities to meet individual pupil needs\n\n * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment\n\n * Monitor progress and implement interventions where required\n\n * Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff\n\n * Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents' evenings as required\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\n * Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in a UK primary setting\n\n * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)\n\n * Has a strong understanding of KS1 curriculum requirements\n\n * Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills\n\n * Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential\n\n * Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues\n\nWhy Apply Through Education Personnel?\n\nWe work with you to find your perfect placement.
