Job Purpose: Internal sales specialised within a sub BU allocated to accounts where possible, deep knowledge of portfolio, process and vendor pricing, manages all quotes and closes orders; incentivized based on part of the portfolio Accountabilities :Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge subject to clear managerial directionGenerate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers. Can have a detailed conversation with customers on solution and identify opportunities to involve the right people in the companyAchieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targetsProactively develop relationships with key internal and external contactsEngages in active inside selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information and develops short, medium and long term activities to drive appropriate customer engagementsManages customer backorder along specialist knowledge and engages in "intelligent project fishing"In AS either manages project end-to-end or hands over to pre sales for technical requirementsProvide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotionsEnsure Tech Data maintains service levels agreements with customersAttainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as customer engagementSell the benefits of using Tech Data and the Company value propositionDevelops partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross-selling etc.)Identifies project opportunities and engages with BDMs if specific product/ vendor knowledge is requiredDrives sales of specific products/ vendors if specific knowledge is requiredProvides accurate and timely quotations (SMB Managed (AS), SP/ E-Var/ SI segment, Specialists (IBM), entire AS BUs)Generate and own a pipeline of deals in Tech Data's CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunitiesManage customer backorder expectations and reportingEnsure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer informationKnowledge Skills and Experience3+ years of experienceNumerate with good attention to detailExcellent telephone mannerPriority management and planning skillsStrive to achieve set targetsUnderstands Sales ProcessEffective Communication SkillsGood relationship buildingWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookIdeal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRMA knowledge of product set would be desirable but not essentialIT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essentialLocation - Bracknell or Warrington If you are looking for an opportunity in an exciting fast paced industry with training and support to help you achieve career goals, continuous progression and the chance to grow your new career, apply today to find out more about Tech Data and what we have to offer. #LI-RS1 Cultural Competency Requirements: Within Tech Data diversity is one of our fundamental shared values.
