Key job responsibilitiesCustomer Insights Program Manager will be responsible for building strong partnerships with our customer service, product, sales and professional services, and engineering teams to identify opportunities to reduce customer effort, improve the payments experience, and eliminate defects. You will use qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to build a holistic and compelling view of the customer experience and customer effort drivers.The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. He or she must be a fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazon's varied payment offerings as well as the behaviour of Amazon's internal systems. He or she will be analytical in their decision making, with a demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion. Experience in the banking or payments industry is preferred.A day in the life· Build programs to understand our customer needs and requirements at all stages of their Business experience.· Listen to the Amazon Business Payments voice of the customers and bring insights for product improvements and customer experience back to the appropriate team.· Define customer requirements for certain payments products feature gaps and improvements based on customer feedback· Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and customer service teams to localize payments UI for EU as well as develop and localize customer facing self-help content· Escalate emerging issues and lead cross functional efforts to drive them to resolutionBasic Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, operations, or related field or equivalent work experience is required· Few years of relevant work experience in program management and/or operations role· Strong bias for action; ability to create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment· Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate with cross functional teams· Ability to work independently with limited general supervision· Proficiency with ExcelPreferred Qualifications · Proficient in German, French, Spanish or Italian· Strong analytical and numerical skills to design the best approach to influence through qualitative and quantitative customer insights· PMP certified or equivalent project management certification· Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives. Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise· SQL skills and/or other data mining skills are highly desired to access, transform, and analyse data as neededAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
