Quest Employment is recruiting experienced HLOP Driver to join our client's busy warehouse operation in the DE24 area. Please note: the first 2 weeks of training will take place at the client's site in DE74.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are key.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday- Friday or Sunday- Thursday or Tuesday- Saturday

  • 6:00am 2:00pm
  • \n

Pay Rates

\n
    \n
  • £14.14 per hour
  • \n
\n

Flexibility with training schedules, shift timings, and working days is required.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Safely operate HLOP trucks in accordance with training, certification, and site procedures.
  • \n
  • Complete daily pre-use equipment checks and report any defects or safety concerns immediately.
  • \n
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe working practices.
  • \n
  • Safely operate HLOP equipment at height while maintaining full awareness and control at all times.
  • \n
  • Move, replenish, retrieve, and store stock accurately within warehouse locations.
  • \n
  • Ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • \n
  • Support warehouse operations, including picking, replenishment, loading, unloading, and general stock handling as required.
  • \n
  • Work flexibly across HLOP and general warehouse duties to meet operational demands.
  • \n
  • Maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and housekeeping.
  • \n
  • Report stock discrepancies, damages, or operational issues promptly.
  • \n
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • \n
  • Promote and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.
  • \n

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience operating HLOP equipment within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • \n
  • Valid HLOP/MHE licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent) or willingness to undertake training.
  • \n
  • Experience operating other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is advantageous.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work safely at height.
  • \n
  • Experience using WMS and RF scanning systems.
  • \n
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • \n
  • Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
  • \n
