Healthcare Assistants

Are you looking to expand your skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and their family?We are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job and enjoy delivering support.Our service user is currently residing in Salford Royal Hospital and we are building a new 2:1 care team to facilitate her discharge home.She lives with her family in Cheshire and is very sociable and thoroughly enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.You will be supporting with all aspects of her day to day routine, this includes her clinical and social care needs, ensuring she leads a healthy life with her children.Her interests are swimming and fitness, spending time with her children and being actively involved their daily routine.She is looking for a team who are positive, encouraging and who can assist with all her needs.As she is a keen swimmer and has the adapted facilities in her home you will be required to support inside the pool to help with transferring in and out of pool.Our ideal applicant will be committed and have a great passion in providing consistent and exceptional care and support.We offer full comprehensive training to support with all clinical needs but require your invaluable care experience to assist with any social, personal care needs, medication administration and moving and handling.Applicants must be able to access Salford Royal Hospital for training.This is a contracted position of 24 or 36 hours per week + additional if wantedDue to this role being contracted we also cover the cost for your DBS and training.Essential Experience Required3 months previous care experiencePersonal CareMoving and HandlingMedication AdministrationDesirable ExperienceSpinal Injury KnowledgeCatheter CareBowel ManagementOral SuctionNebuliser CareCough AssistDrivers with access to a vehicleShifts AvailableFull Time & Part TimeDays - 7am - 7pmNights - 7pm - 7amThis is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and their family.#Why work for Apollo Home Healthcare?We specialise in the provision of highly complex clinical care services delivered in the homes of service users.We are passionate about delivering the highest standard of care and we recognise that our Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers are integral to doing this.
