Charity Shop Manager

We are recruiting for a shop manager at our store on Chorlton High Street. This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in collaboration with staff and volunteers. The shop is open Monday to Saturday and the post is 37.5 hours to be worked over 5 days a week.
We are a well established, busy shop that enjoys a great mix of clientele and is well loved within the vibrant community. We have two part-time deputies who work Monday to Saturday to support the shop manager to achieve a target of £2.5k per week. The takings are largely made up from high volume sales and select high value items.
We are looking for a leader who fits into our collaborative approach to work. We want someone who thrives working alongside people, encouraging creativity, embracing new ideas and has a keenness to learn from each other. You need to have a calm and patient manner and enjoy engaging with people from a diverse background. The shop that demands high stock output so you must be physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy loads to meet the demands of the role. To excel in this role you must be fluent in fashion trends and brands, love rummaging for treasure and curating preloved items!
